Simple Joys Simple Beginnings

How It Started

A few years ago, my mother-in-law had a fun idea to create family quilts. We would draw a name at Christmas time and spend the next year putting together a quilt for them. Each person would contribute a few squares. For my part, I decided I wanted to learn embroidery. I bought a basic kit on Amazon and went through hours of videos on Pinterest. I had a blast and have been embroidering ever since.

How It's Going

I have ADHD, so most of my hobbies last maybe a couple of weeks. I've stuck with embroidery for 3 years! I've learned a lot. I made a lot more quilt squares, as well as some jewelry and pillows. Now, I make incredibly simple kits to help others start their journey with embroidery. I also create embroidery kit packages for guests to make at bridal and baby showers. My favorite part of this job is working with people on custom projects, making something they'll love and enjoy.
